The Innovative TAURUS Compression Box

Like all TAURUS balers and shears, the KAPPA shear baler is equipped with the original TAURUS SB compression box. The compression system has been refined to reduce scrap preparation times and optimize the force transmission curve.

The new design introduces several key improvements:

  • Extended stroke on both oscillating lids, for better material compression;
  • New lid geometry engineered to maximize closing efficiency;
  • High-elastic-limit lever arms, redesigned for greater strength and durability;
  • Optimized cylinder positioning, for the ideal balance between power and motion control.

The new SB box stands out for its structural solidity and robustness.
The Box and the wings feature a sandwich configuration with a lattice core, increasing resistance to bending and torsion, ensuring elastic return, and preventing permanent deformation

Precision submerged arc weldingguarantees uniformity, consistency, and fatigue resistance,ensuring a long and reliable service life.
