SINCE 1964, ALWAYS A STEP AHEAD!
TAURUS BLULINE
THE EVOLUTION IN TRADITION
With the BLULINE has been updated the design of the traditional TAURUS shear&baler , important innovations have been introduced that give the new machines new quality and new advantages.
The BLULINE shears&baler are equipped with the original and renewed compression system with “oscillating wings” SBxc (Squeeze-Box).

The range of BLULINE machines includes fixed, mobile and transportable shears with cutting forces up to 1600 tons. BLULINE shears&balers are versatile machines, suitable for the compression and shearing of any type of scrap, from profiles, pipes, pantographed sheets to mixed and bulky scrap, demolition, rails, rods, E.L.V., etc…
THE SHEAR&BALER
The BLULINE shears&balers do not need foundations, they are mounted on a support structure equipped with an original self-levelling plates system designed to limit vibrations to the ground.
TAURUS shears&balers are machines designed and built to withstand the complex and high stresses that are produced during the compression and shearing phases of the scrap. The individual parts of TAURUS shears are mechanically machined on high precision CNC machining centers.
THE ORIGINAL TAURUS SHEAR&BALER
The shear head is composed of an electrowelded monolithic structure. The internal surfaces of the shear and the front surface of the mobile blade holder, in direct contact with the scrap are protected by replaceable wear plates. The sliding guides of the mobile blade holder are made of synthetic material with lubricating substances suitable to incorporate residues and solid particles in order to avoid seizures by sliding. The adjustment of the guides is made with a simple eccentric system, acting from the outside of the structure, in order to eliminate the coupling play. The cutting force is transmitted to the mobile blade holder by two double-acting cylinders. This solution allows to minimize the contact friction between the guides. The cutting system is more balanced and the wear of the guides is significantly reduced. The blades are housed in a protected seat by a under blade and a counter-blade, to correctly distribute the specific compression load. The presence of high strength materials, integrated in the shear's structure and the mobile blade holder, protects the blade housing from early deformation and wear. The squeezing box adopts the well proven TAURUS compression system SBxc (patented) which has been improved to reduce scrap preparation time and optimize the compression force transmission "curve". The evolution concerns the overstroke on both oscillating wings and their new geometry, the lever arms have been modified and the position of the cylinders has been adjusted. The compression box is particularly solid and sturdy and the wings have a honeycomb structure with the internal and external cover plates made of wear-resistant steel with high yield strength, to guarantee the elastic return and eliminate permanent deformations, the submerged arc welded parts guarantee constancy and uniformity to the weld seams and high resistance to fatigue stress. The new hydraulic system combines low consumption with high performance. The set of valves making up the system and mounted on the distribution panels is an adequate compromise between the use of traditional drawer elements and the adoption of logical elements. Mechanical limit switches have been eliminated, replacing them with angle sensors (KNEE) and laser position controls. The application of the integrated multifunction system "SIRL" allows, among other things, to control the speed of the lids to avoid shocks and vibrations. With the tele-diagnostics (TS), installed as standard on all shears, the machine is monitored in real time by our service department.
