Imported car body parts such as doors, bonnets, wings and side members are shipped on racks made of structural steel. These racks are designed to protect the load during transport and to allow it to be handled in logistics centres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At the end of their service life, however, they become bulky scrap that is difficult to store and to send to recycling. Their open geometry, rigidity and variable dimensions give them a low density and make them inefficient to handle. To process this material, a machine must be able to contain<\/strong>, stabilize<\/strong> and compact it<\/strong> effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MIZAR TAURUS baler meets this requirement. Its compression chamber measures 1000 \u00d7 600 mm and can process even particularly bulky material without any prior manual work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The compression chamber of the MIZAR baler is \u201ctank\u201d shaped and fitted with two flat swinging lids hinged to each other. The lower lid is hinged longitudinally to the vertical wall of the chamber. This configuration grips the material more steadily, gives better control during the cycle and delivers considerably more powerful compression. The inner walls of the tub, which are in direct contact with the scrap, are made of thick wear-resistant steel plate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The MIZAR can be fitted with three cylinders per lid as an option. Each lid can develop a maximum compression force of 300 tons, as can the feed cylinder. The result is a uniform bale that is easy to handle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When steel racks are compacted with the MIZAR, the result is immediately visible in the yard. The initial volume is reduced by up to 70\u201380%<\/strong>, and bulky structures become compact, regular bales<\/strong>, that are much easier to handle and store. This higher density also brings a direct logistical advantage. Fast work cycles allow large quantities of material to be processed in a short time.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
