The K is a shear baler designed with flexibility in mind: it can be installed and started up in a short time, is simple to operate and adapts easily to different operating environments. It is particularly suited to growing plants that need to increase productivity without compromising operational continuity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The design of the K follows the principle that guides all TAURUS production: a structure built to last. In scrap processing, the machine works under heavy-duty conditions, with high loads, repeated impacts, torsional stress, vibration and continuous wear; for TAURUS, structural strength is therefore the basis of every design choice, not an added value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The aim is not only to withstand these conditions, but to retain the original performance over time, ensuring reliability and production continuity. The structure is made of high-quality welded steel, with parts produced by submerged arc welding, which ensures uniform, consistent weld beads that are highly resistant to fatigue stress: a fundamental requirement for a machine designed to process heterogeneous and demanding scrap. All components are machined on high-precision CNC machining centres, which ensure perfect fits without adjustments during assembly, interchangeability and ease of replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Each lid of the compression box is driven by three cylinders, and both lids feature overstroke. This solution allows deeper and more uniform compression of the material and shortens the scrap preparation phase before cutting. Overstroke is controlled by KNEE, a patented angular sensor. The equipment also includes the CSA end-of-stroke decelerator, which dampens impacts and the stress transmitted to the structure; the ECA stroke economizer, which shortens cycle times and reduces the volume of oil moved; and contactless laser stroke limiters, which replace mechanical limit switches that would otherwise be exposed to dust, vibration and impact.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
