BRAVO PRE-SHREDDER AND WHY CHOOSE IT"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The <strong>BRAVO pre-shredder<\/strong> has been designed to <strong>homogenize scrap<\/strong>both as it is and in bales, before the subsequent <strong>hammer mill shredding process.<\/strong>.<br>The <strong>material to be homogenized<\/strong> is loaded by the<strong>operator<\/strong> into the <strong>pre-shredding chamber.<\/strong>.<br>By <strong>gravity<\/strong>, sliding along the <strong>inclined feeding surface<\/strong>, the material comes into contact with the <strong>first slow feeding shaft<\/strong> , which, once it grips the scrap, pushes it towards the area where the <strong>teeth of the two counter-rotating rotors<\/strong> intermesh.<br>The <strong>scrap<\/strong>, passing through the <strong>gaps between the teeth of the toothed crowns<\/strong>, is <strong>pulled and torn apart.<\/strong>.<br>The <strong>torn scrap<\/strong> is pushed by the<strong>fast shredding and discharge shaft<\/strong> towards the <strong>discharge area<\/strong> onto the <strong>conveyor belt<\/strong> feeding the <strong>Hammers mill<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>rotors<\/strong>, slow and fast, of the pre-shredder are <strong>indipendent<\/strong> and <strong>driven by hydraulic motors.<\/strong>.<br>The two <strong>counter-rotating shafts<\/strong> can transmit <strong>power up to 1350 hp<\/strong> and rotate at <strong>different speeds with a constant ratio.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The<strong>closed-loop hydraulic system<\/strong> controlling the two <strong>hydraulic action<\/strong> of <strong>high torque<\/strong> and <strong>constant speed ratio<\/strong> allows the <strong>teeth to pull and tear the scrap<\/strong> producing <strong>homogeneous output material<\/strong> that is more easily <strong>processed by hammer mills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>toothed crowns<\/strong> are subject to <strong>wear<\/strong>when necessary, they must be <strong>rebuilt by welding overlays<\/strong> with an <strong>appropriate filler materials<\/strong>.<br>The <strong>service life<\/strong> of the toothed crowns can reach <strong>several thousand operating hours<\/strong> without the need for replacement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>pre-shredder<\/strong> is suitable for <strong>E.L.V.<\/strong>, <strong>light scrap<\/strong>, <strong>collected scrap<\/strong>, <strong>sheet metals<\/strong>, <strong>tanks<\/strong> and <strong>material up to 3 mm thickness.<\/strong>.<br>The <strong>difficult materials<\/strong> reduces the <strong>service life of the toothed crowns<\/strong> , and continuous use may cause the <strong>teeth to bend or break, requiring premature replacement.<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>wall on which the scrap slides<\/strong> toward the underlying <strong>counter-rotating shafts is a movable surface (FLAP)<\/strong> that <strong>oscillates<\/strong> via a <strong>hydraulic cylinder<\/strong>, <strong>pressing the scrap<\/strong> against the <strong>rotor teeth<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>cylinder<\/strong> is controlled by an <strong>independent open-loop hydraulic system<\/strong> with an <strong>electric motor<\/strong>, depending on <strong>rotor power<\/strong>.<br>The <strong>movement of the FLAP<\/strong> is <strong>closely synchronized<\/strong> with the <strong>rotor movement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The <strong>Large, bulky, and hard-to-process materials<\/strong> can cause <strong>shaft overloads<\/strong> and <strong>material floating<\/strong>.<br>Has been designed and implemented <strong>a new FLIPPER configuration (patented)<\/strong> with its <strong>oscillating action<\/strong>, <strong>reduces scrap size<\/strong>, <strong>facilitates material feeding<\/strong> into the shredding area <strong>and limits floating phenomena<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During <strong>automatic operation<\/strong>, when <strong>overload conditions occur<\/strong>, the <strong>shafts reverse rotation<\/strong> to <strong>release the teeth<\/strong> from the material that caused the stoppage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BRAVO is
